RECOVERY OF M4 CARBINE IN KASHMIR EXPOSES ISI’S BIGGER GAME PLAN

08 Nov 2017/Wednesday

At first a picture of Kashmiri militant with US made M4 rifle goes viral on digital media and then similar weapon is recovered from the terrorists killed in Kashmir on Nov 06, 2017. Three terrorists were killed by Security forces after an overnight operation including Rashid Talha, nephew of Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Masood Azahr.

There is a general feeling  that Hizbul Mujahidin  and Lashkar- e- Taiba  having lost their many commanders and cadres in past few months have taken a defensive posture which is not liked by their masters in Pakistan and hence ISI is looking for some other options like handing over the terrorist operations in Kashmir to JeM,  as predicted earlier and employ ISIS fighters post Syrian in the shadows of JeM and Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind. Possibility of such option certainly cannot be denied in the light of recovery of this weapon and what has been said by a senior Indian Army Officer, “This weapon (the M4 carbine) is with the special forces of Pakistan army. So we have reasons to believe that this particular weapon was given by the Pakistani army to JeM cadres and this clearly shows the complicity between JeM and Pakistan in fuelling insurgency in the Valley”.  As per him presence of more number of such weapons in the valley cannot be ruled out.

Entire world knows about Pakistan Army’s role in training terrorists in their backyard and help them sneak into Kashmir for their own vested interest.  Even SSG members are involved in training terrorists but they never shared their weapons with terrorists. So, the recovery of such weapon does ring the bells and Security Forces in Kashmir can witness some major terrorists’ related incidents backed by foreign terrorists with new sophisticated weaponry in near future.
