Border Security Force Jawan Rameez Parray was shot dead and three of his family members were injured in an attack by terrorists in Bandipore district of Jammu and Kashmir on 26 Sept 2017.

According to eye witnesses, Parray had just taken voluntary retirement from the BSF and had returned home to Hajin. He was dragged out of his home and shot dead, officials said, adding that it looks to be a targeted killing.

Jammu and Kashmir DGP, SP Vaid, told News18 that there were 3-4 terrorists who barged into the home of the BSF jawan. He said that their attempt was to take Parray away, but they shot him at close range when he resisted.

On June 23, DSP Mohammed Ayub Pandith was lynched by a mob after he opened fire on a group of people who caught him clicking pictures near a mosque in Nowhatta area of Srinagar.

It seems that the militants attempted a repeat of Lt Umar Fayaz, however, failed as the Jawan resisted. Due to recent setbacks to both LeT and HM has set in desperation to target the holidaying peaceful soldiers. May be this the militants want to drive in fear amongst uniformed soldiers, not realizing that the response from the other side will be more controlled, precise, calculated and without remorse. It may also be noted by the readers that each soldier lost by the security forces has been avenged. Already rumors are in that security forces have chalked out plans to hunt down those involved. It soon would be time to publish an operation revealing details of another such operation carried out by our brothers (security forces) to avenge the killing of a fellow Kashmiris. Please avoid these anti-Kashmiriyat groups which only want to kill Kashmiriyat at drop of a hat on the orders of Pakistani masters.

Has no one heard of how the Pakistani army targeted innocent civilians in 1971, especially women and children? They raped around 2,00,000 women and murdered an equal number of men. They killed all the boys they caught and raped all girls above eight years of age.
