At 21, when rest of the Indian girls are dreaming of their honeymoon, our doe eyed beauties of Kashmir are in a quagmire of widowhood, multiple marriages, a loveless life and lost hopes. These angelic Kashmiri girls, who are second to none, are plagued by not one but umpteen old-fangled, biased and regressive traditions which have over the years crushed their basic right to live a normal life. By no means would their muffled screams, resonating in every Kashmiri household ever fall into the deaf ears of the “propagators of jihad”. Therefore it’s about time that we women collectively stand up for the injustice inflicted upon us  and change the tide in our favor and lead a normal life with the man of our dreams and children whom we don’t burry in coffins.
