On 01 Aug 17, Pak media mis-reported that Indian troops, in their fresh act of state terrorism, killed three more terrorists in Pulwama district. Charred bodies of two terrorists were recovered from the debris of two residential houses destroyed by the indian troops during a crackdown operation in Hakripora. The forces also use chemical substances in the raid. One more terrorist was killed and dozens of other people were injured after Indian forces fired bullets, pellets and teargas shells on protesters in Kakapora, Newa and Hakripora areas in the district. The killing led to clashes between students and Indian troops in Srinagar and Kupwara and Kulgam districts. Meanwhile, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has strongly condemned the arrest of its leader and Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Social Peace Forum, Advocate Devinder Singh Behal by Indian National Investigation Agency in Jammu.
