Police organizes Art and Painting competition

 JKAP-9th Battalion organized an Art and Painting competition  at Armed Police Complex Zewan today in which 50 students of six schools participates. Dy. Inspector of General of Police Armed/ IR-Kashmir, Shri Rafiq-ul-Hassan was the chief guest on the occasion.  

  These student were from DPS Budgam, Govt. girls High School Zewan, SAPS Awantipora, Valley Model Academy Pampore, JNV Khanpora, ITPS Heights School Khansahib  and Iqbal Memorial Budgam.

        On the occasion Shri Shailender Singh, Commandant JKAP-9th Bn welcomed all the participating students and highlighted the aim and objectives of this event. He advised them to remain focused in life saying that they are the future of the society and a lot of responsibility lies on their shoulders.

   Imroz Inam class 8th of DPS Budgam and Aaisha Manzoor Class 6th of IMI Bemina secured 1st position, Bisma Yaqoob & Sakeena Farooq class 10th of Govt. Girls High School Zewan secured 2nd position and Shujaat Shafi class 6th and Mahliqa Jan class 9th of IPTS Heights School Khansahib secured 3rd position. 

The Dy. Inspector of General of Police Armed/ IR-Kashmir presented  trophies, medals and certificates among the winners of the competition.

   Speaking on the occasion he appreciated the efforts of Commandant JKAP-9th Bn for organizing the event which is said would help to enhance the talent of the participating students. He also choose the painting of Imroz Inam for his office as an epitome of excellence.

    Later, “Pehla Qadam”, a global award winner documentary of 25 minutes to inculcate traffic civic sense was also show cased .
